On Sunday 3rd Feb six new trees will be planted on South Millfields. Do come along and help we start at 10am probably till about 2pm. The session will be run by The Tree Musketeers. Even if you can’t help do come along and learn how to plant a tree correctly.

Hackney’s annual Wassail (singing to fruit trees) will take place on Sunday 13 January.

Meet at Hackney Downs Orchard at noon, Millfields Orchard at 1 or Springfield Orchard at 2.

Song sheets are provided, and no singing or wassailing experience is necessary.

Everyone is very welcome to come for all or part of the stroll. If you can, bring food or drink to share at Springfield Park bandstand afterwards.
